Racial Harmony Day 2011

We just celebrated Racial Harmony Day last Thursday, 21st July 2011. The pupils and teachers came in their ethnic costumes. We watched a concert showing the wedding ceremonies of the Chinese, Malays and Indians in Singapore. During recess, the pupils had food sampling of some traditional food of the various cultures. During FTGP, the pupils tried drawing Kolam and they learnt to sing a few traditional songs during Music lessons for the past few weeks. Get them to sing songs like 'Rasa Sayang', 'Chan Mali Chan' at home! :) Look at the photographs taken, the kids are really good at posing !
