P1 English : Rhyme Time (2)

These are some other poems we have recited in class.

Ten Little Penguins

Ten little penguins,
Standing on the ice.
All of them are smiling,
They seem so very nice.
They play out in the snow,
All the winter long,
They eat a lot of fish,
Which makes them big and strong.

Five Little Bears

One little bear
Wondering what to do
Along came another
Then there were two!

Two little bears
Climbing up a tree
Along came another
Then there were three!

Three little bears
Ate an apple core
Along came another
Then there were four!

Four little honey bears
Found honey in a hive
Along came another
Then there were five!

Grizzly Bear, Grizzly Bear

Grizzly Bear, Grizzly Bear,
Where have you been?
Over the mountains -
Such things I've seen!

Grizzly Bear, Grizzly Bear,
What have you done?
Eaten blueberries
Made ripe by the sun.

National Day Celebration 2011

The school was a sea of red this morning when all the pupils and staff came to school in red tops. The pupils watched a concert and played 'Don't Forget Your Lyrics' with a few National Day songs in the hall. After which, the pupils moved on to the classrooms to design a mini flag. Some of the pupils could not finish colouring in class, thus they were allowed to bring home their work.
